Update

By the way just to update you guys, I checked into St. Pauls Hospital last night for my 2nd time bi-annual Colonoscopy (intestine checkup) this morning. This time, the doctor found a new polyp again and he surgically removed it, but he says he's pretty confident that it's benign. We'll know for sure when the test results come out next Wednesday. Hopefully if the results show that it was indeed benign then I won't have to go through this literal pain-in-the-ass until a year later... _

Le Bonbon is back at City'super! (cont.)

After much sweat, blood and yes tears, we've finally reopened at Harbour City TST, City'super Cooked Deli Food Court. This is just a short promotion which started on June 2nd and will end on June 23rd.

For the past 4 days we have been getting a lot more orders than we could dream of. I just wanted to share with you guys my feeling of being touched...

I now believe that 1) when you put your heart into something, 2) you give EVERYTHING you can to do it, and 3) you learn from your mistakes and change accordingly, then somethings no matter how impossible are really achievable.

Of course this is still an early stage and I'm going to try my best to sustain the response. Anyway this is not a sell but for those of you who miss my crepes, feel free to drop by if you happen to be around TST. It's also ok if you can't make it.

Keep dreaming. Then keep achieving. That way it will be worth it.

2 FW:

Another refreshment for you guys! :em_50

>One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.
>They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
>
>On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
>
>"It was great, Dad."
>
>"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
>
>"Oh yeah," said the son.
>
>"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
>
>The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
>
>We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
>
>Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
>
>We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
>
>We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
>
>We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
>
>We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
>
>The boy's father was speechless.
>
>Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

FW: chat with God

impressive stuff... :em_25

>> God : Hello. Did you call me?

>> Me: Called you? No.. who is this?

>> God : This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.

>> Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something..

>> God : What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.

>> Me: Don't know. But I can't find free time. Life has become hectic. It's rush hour all the time.

>> God : Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you

>> results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.

>> Me: I understand. But I still can't figure it out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.

>> God : Well I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.

>> Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

>> God : Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.

>> Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?

>> God : Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That's why you are not happy.

>> Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?

>> God : Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.

>> Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty..

>> God : Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.

>> Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?

>> God : Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that experience their life becomes better not bitter.

>> Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?

>> God : Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

>> Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why can't we be free from problems?

>> God : Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are free from problems.

>> Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading..

>> God : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

>> Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should I do?

>> God : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

>> Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

>> God : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

>> Me: What surprises you about people?

>> God : When they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me" Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.

>> Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I can't get the answer.

>> God : Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

>> Me: How can I get the best out of life?

>> God : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

>> Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

>> God : There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.

>> Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the New Year with a new sense of inspiration.

>> God : Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don't believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

I LOVE MUSIC, I LOVE YOU ALL!

老土D都要講架喇。。。

好想好想忠心恭喜你It was a really really amazing show!! 完全超越晒我所有expectation! 都唔講有幾咁smooth喇to me the concert was a rare demonstration of being conceptually coherent throughout every detail... the 80s concept was impressively unique and outstanding (without being leung)... and that was the biggest takeaway for me as an audience. I felt that the stage design and choreography was breathtaking (especially Ah C part). I liked the way the rundown was creatively spiced with the conceptually coherent yet also humourous DJ performances.  Lastly, I cannot believe it was all done with such wild entertainment value! If you noticed by the end of it, I was drenched with sweat and I virtually lost my voice! I guess the fact that all the non-80s artists did not take the opportunity to promote their current songs REALLY helped. My favourite part was of course grasshopper - I have been a fan (like you guys as well I guess) since I was small, and I have never been to their concerts before. Even if I did, I know that the atmosphere couldn’t beat that of last night! I was jumping up and down and singing along every song, reminded me of all the childhood memories! I was so glad to see that the whole audience probably felt the same exhilaration, and that they didn’t hesitate to dance along!

All the above already makes last night superior to any of the 903 lai fut yam ngok concerts (in my heart at least) – and I REALLY didn’t expect that it could be done, even without 903! My only worry for you? Is how are you going to beat yourself for the next concert in August?! I really believe that your efforts have turned the concert into a new standard in music events, so please don’t disappoint us as your new “Love Music” fans! (Yes, I believe that one of the ways this pays off is with the new kind of loyalty you have now built with your customers, hope it really translates into numbers soon!)

真係唔係擦鞋。所有上述都係珍珠都咁真既真心話最touching樣野係you guys must have worked with unprecedented heart and team work to achieve this! I feel immensely proud of you my ex-colleagues! 同你地講話我一D都羨慕你地都唔信啦Long live LOVE MUSIC! I can’t wait till August! =)
